Forus AI Network Accelerates Medicine Delivery to Patients

Forus, the AI network accelerating medicine, today announced $150 million in Series C financing at a $3 billion valuation, tripling its valuation just months after announcing its Series B and bringing total funding to more than $300 million. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, an investor in Forus since its seed round. Every existing institutional investor is reinvesting, including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel.

Forus is the AI network for medicine: the platform connecting doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to bring new science to the patients who need it.

Forus is national and supporting millions of people, now used by providers across all 50 states to treat patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes. More than a third of providers in the country have adopted the platform in the first launched specialty, with double-digit percentages of providers nationwide across multiple other specialties following suit. Forus will use the funding to expand to all specialties and care settings, extend what its AI agents can do across the entire path to treatment, and accelerate investment in its team.

“We are putting the Forus platform in every doctor’s office in the country, so every disease is treated with the best medicine science can offer,” said Sahir Jaggi, CEO and founder of Forus. “Medicine is advancing faster than at any point in history, increasing the urgency to make sure those advances reach the people they’re meant for. We are building Forus to ensure science is the only limit to medicine.”

One in three people prescribed medication for a high-cost or complex condition never gets their first dose, and those who do often have to wait weeks or months. When prescribing a new therapy means uncertainty for the patient and unmanageable process for the practice, physicians reach for older medicines they know they can get. Patients are often left with more side effects, more complications, and less effective treatment than the latest science allows. Some provider practices hold back from treating entire disease areas because they don’t feel equipped to take them on. Bringing a single new medicine to market takes more than a decade and billions of dollars, but that science reaches just a fraction of the people who need it.

Forus closes that gap by giving every prescription its own AI agent. Embedded directly in provider workflows, the agents manage everything between a clinical decision and a patient starting treatment, navigating insurance, financial assistance, and supply chain across every drug, payer, and pharmacy in the country, free for providers and patients. Each agent works like a case manager, reasoning through the patient’s medical history, insurance coverage, and financial situation to determine what needs to happen next, drawing on clinical models, specialized sub-agents, and what Forus has learned from millions of cases. Getting patients on the medicine they need becomes simpler, faster, and more predictable for the whole clinical team. That predictability gives providers the confidence to prescribe the most effective treatment for each patient from day one.

“There were times a patient would come back after two or three months and tell me, ‘I haven’t even started the medication yet,’” said Dr. Brinda Dixit, rheumatologist at Virginia Rheumatology Clinic in Chesapeake, Virginia. “With Forus, approvals for these medications come back in less than two days, and patients start treatment within a week or two. My patients are getting better faster because they are getting on therapy faster. It makes me a better physician.”

Because Forus sits at the center of how prescriptions move, its AI network reveals where providers get stuck, where patients fall off, and how medicines perform in the real world. Biopharma companies use that perspective to design better research, launch new medicines more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions. Forus is now working with 9 of the top 15 global biopharma companies and many fast-growing biotechs to advance medicine. As it scales, the company is expanding its impact across the full biopharma pipeline, building the AI network that accelerates every new medicine from the moment a drug is ready to test in people to the point where everyone who needs it has it.

“Forus is becoming how new medicine reaches people in America,” said Kevin Zhang, General Partner at Bain Capital Ventures. “We have backed the company since its seed, and in that time the largest companies in medicine have turned to it to bring their newest medicines to patients. The next era of medicine will run on the AI-powered network Forus is building.”
